Fruit Bars

Ingredients
Based on 24 servings per recipe.
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup jam (strawberry, grape, raspberry, blackberry)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Stir oil until crumbly.

Add egg, water, vanilla extract and mix well.

Press 2/3 of batter in a 9×9 or 8×8 inch greased pan.

Spread evenly with jam.

Use remaining batter to make crumbs on top.

Bake for 25-30 mins.

Cool in pan and cut into 24 bars.
