Northwest Kidney Centers names two new medical directors
Seattle, WA (Feb. 2, 2016): Northwest Kidney Centers, a nonprofit that provides 80 percent of the dialysis care in King and Clallam counties, has named two new medical directors.
Dr. Lin “Alex” Li is medical director at Northwest Kidney Centers’ Snoqualmie Ridge clinic, 35131 SE Douglas St., Suite 113, Snoqualmie, Wash. He practices at Cascade Kidney Specialists in Bellevue. Li received his medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center; completed an internship and residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Fla., and held a nephrology fellowship at the University of California-Irvine, Orange, Calif. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
Dr. Kathryn Treit will supervise Northwest Kidney Centers’ peritoneal dialysis program. She practices at The Polyclinic in Seattle. Treit earned her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle and completed her internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. She completed her nephrology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle, and an advanced dialysis fellowship at the University of Washington and Northwest Kidney Centers.
Northwest Kidney Centers is a regional, not-for-profit, community-based provider of kidney dialysis, public health education, and research into the causes and treatments of chronic kidney disease. Founded in Seattle in 1962, it was the world’s first dialysis organization. It remains a model in the field because of its high quality services, community connections and generous donor support.
