Dialysis Technician III
Responsibilities
The Hospital Services Dialysis Technician receives direction for the delivery of patient care from a registered nephrology nurse, clinical coordinator or manager. The position is also responsible for operating dialysis equipment, communication with patients, staff and outside organizations, observing safety procedures, machine repair, electrical safety testing, water quality, Hemochron testing, storeroom maintenance, and performing relief and/or project duties as related to the overall goals of NKC Acute Dialysis Service and NKC. Treatments and decision making is based on established procedures and practices.
Requirements
One year current dialysis experience. Must be able to travel between facilities.
Shift
Variable shifts and hours. 2 years current dialysis exp. Must travel between facilities. Excellent work history, phlebotomy/science/math skills. Proof of HS diploma or equivalency required.
