Requirements

Northwest Kidney Centers welcomes your help! People of all ages are invited to apply for volunteer positions within the following program areas: administrative, events, health and community fairs, speakers bureau and Together for Life.

Car Buddies must be at least 18 years of age. Community Dialysis Center and Internet-Laptop Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

NKC requests a 3-month minimum volunteer commitment. To become a volunteer:

• 1) Fill out an NKC Volunteer Application Packet
• 2) Interview with the Manager of the Volunteer Program
• 3) Consent to a state patrol background and reference check

Prospective volunteers who plan to work in dialysis units must be screened for tuberculosis (TB).
