Working at Northwest Kidney Centers

"I am so very proud of working and volunteering at the Northwest Kidney Centers. The organization's focus on kidney disease education, through our community involvement and outreach to the public, is enormous and impressive. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team."

Alex Walker
Northwest Kidney Centers dialysis technician

Northwest Kidney Centers has been at the forefront of kidney disease treatment and research since its inception in 1962. As the largest provider of dialysis services in the Pacific Northwest, NKC has twelve centers located in King and Clallam counties, and employs over five hundred people.

As the first outpatient dialysis center in the world, we are committed to maintaining a nationally recognized standard of excellence. NKC is the only community-based, free standing not-for-profit dialysis organization in the United States. We are proud of our tradition of providing comprehensive, high-quality treatment for patients with kidney failure as well as support services for patients and their loved ones.

We offer a wide variety of opportunities for exciting and challenging careers in health care. Our benefits include paid training, medical and dental benefits, life insurance, 401(k), long-term care, paid time off, vacation and sick pay, health insurance and a 401K plan. We offer our “Dialysis Academy”—8 weeks of paid training to new dialysis technicians and nurses.

Every year we honor our diverse population of committed professionals with Employee Appreciation Week. Northwest Kidney Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national or ethnic origin, disability or veteran status.
